As someone who’s lived with type 1 diabetes since childhood, raises a kid with T1D, and works professionally in diabetes education and research (yes, that’s the hat-trick!), I speak fluent Dexcom alerts and can hold a conversation while simultaneously treating a low with juice and calculating basal adjustments.
